Located in White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis, the Indiana State Museum is dedicated to presenting exhibits and hands-on experiences that showcase the stories of Indiana’s natural and cultural history, art, and science. With a collection that began in 1862 and a permanent home established in 1967, the museum explores the Hoosier state from century-old fossils to current pop culture and also features the state’s largest IMAX theater.
